This is such a good book about how to create art guised as cute and adorable drawings. It is cute and adorable, but it is also a genuine foundation into the world of art itself. There are lesions here that masters have used through the ages. We are so impressed that we bought this signed copy dedicated to the third grade class at Lipton Elementary for their fun and enjoyment and learning in all of their art projects.

I backed this book campaign on a whim, and it was the best whim I could have had. The way Carlianne guides us through the book, both with her text and exercises makes the journey super relaxed, flowing and fun, but still giving you lots of very insightful knowledge. Sometimes it even seems too simple of a concept, but it's like a detail they never tell you. She really is able to go to the "small" things that make a big difference. And on top of that, her warmup exercises actually helped me with a therapy I was doing for elbow pain. And no, they were not new to me, I have done them thousand of times, but in this book, for the first time, I was told to do them lightly... And I found out I just had no control in the line when I released the excessive tension in my arm (which was the point of my elbow therapy). It was perfect, and I'm super thankful that I choose this book to help me get back to drawing. Thank you so much Carlianne. <3
can't wait to gift this beautiful book to my niece for Christmas! she's always trying to improve her drawings & this so perfectly engages with her creativity & will help her build her confidence as an artist. not to mention its adorable cover-to-cover :)
My 10 yr old daughter is SO enjoying your *How to … Adorable* book. While camping, she is drawing and redrawing the cute square character over and over everywhere. And now she is showing her 6 yr old brother what she’s learned. He excitedly took “a lesson” from his big sister.
Then my son wanted to add a lil more details that weren’t in the book… Using his imagination, making his own characters; that’s what your book is about!
So sweet to see them doing something together without electronics.
You are giving all of us a great jumping off point in our character drawing AND drawing techniques. So thank you! :)
